LINER

Pond liner has the advantage that you can realized almost any shape for your pond. It is available in thickness from 20MIL - 45 MIL (0.5 - 1.2mm) and is very durable. It is available in both PVC and EPDM (Rubber). Both these materials are resistant to UV-light, cold, roots and tearing.

Roofing or construction liner should be avoided, as it is often made from recycled materials which may release toxic substances into the pond environment. Check with your supplier whether the liner is fish-safe.
